Mount Washington Has Highest Wind Gust Of Season At 133 MPH

MOUNT WASHINGTON, N.H. (CBS) – Mount Washington, home of some of the most severe weather in New England, recorded it's highest wind gust of the winter season Wednesday.

They had a peak gust of 133 mph!

Intern Eve Battles 110 mph Winds

It's been the windiest day of the winter season today with a peak gust of 133 mph! Intern Eve attempted to play a bit in the winds this afternoon, with a peak gust of 117 mph during the video. No interns were harmed in the making of this video.

Researchers shared video of an intern trying to walk in winds of about 117 miles per hour and joked that no one was harmed while making the video.
