Mount Sunapee Resort Suspends Skiing Due To Warm Weather

NEWBURY, N.H. (AP) — One of New Hampshire's ski resorts has suspended operations until Sunday due to higher than normal temperatures.

The Mount Sunapee Resort says it hasn't had one productive night of snowmaking since Nov. 30.

It says there's a window of cold weather coming in Friday night through Saturday night, and that time will be used to resurface and build base on open trails.

Sunapee says it has just leased additional compressed air so it can increase its snowmaking output.
