Morning Fire Destroys Falmouth Home

FALMOUTH (CBS) -- An early morning fire burned through a Falmouth home Thursday.

Firefighters responded to the East Falmouth Highway home shortly after 5:00a.m.

The couple and two dogs who lived at the home were able to escape. No firefighters were hurt.

The male resident was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Fire officials say the fire may have started in the garage near a wood stove.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
