Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr., Dustin Pedroia All Named Finalists For Gold Glove Awards
BOSTON (CBS) -- Mookie Betts received serious MVP consideration in 2016 for his work at the plate, but work in the outfield occasionally went less noticed.
That wasn't the case, though, among the voters for the Gold Glove Awards, as the Red Sox announced Thursday that Betts is one of three Red Sox players to be a finalist for Gold Glove Awards at their respective positions.

In addition to the right fielder Betts, the Red Sox boast Gold Glove nominees in Jackie Bradley Jr. in center field and Dustin Pedroia at second base.

Winners will be announced on Nov. 9.
On Wednesday night, MLB announced that David Ortiz had won the Hank Aaron Award as the American League's most outstanding offensive performer.
