Mom, Boyfriend Indicted In Missing Mass. Boy Case

WORCESTER (AP) — A missing Massachusetts boy's mother and her boyfriend have been indicted on charges including child kidnapping, assault and child endangerment.

Five-year-old Jeremiah Oliver of Fitchburg was reported missing in December and feared dead. Other relatives said they last saw him in September.

Twenty-eight-year-old Elsa Oliver has been held on $100,000 bail after pleading not guilty to reckless endangerment and accessory after the fact to felony assault. The Friday indictment also charges her with permitting bodily injury to a child, child kidnapping, and assault and battery.

Twenty-three-year-old Alberto Sierra is held without bail after pleading not guilty to assault charges. The indictment charges him with indecent assault and battery on a child, permitting bodily injury to a child, reckless endangerment of a child, child kidnapping, and several assault charges.

The indictment moves the case to Superior Court.
