Tewksbury Police Say Non-Verbal Missing Woman Found Safe In Rhode Island

TEWKSBURY (CBS) - Tewksbury police say a young woman who went missing from a hospital has been found safe in Rhode Island.

Emily Medina, 24, was living at the Tewksbury State Hospital when she was last seen there around 3 p.m. Tuesday. She's hearing impared, non-verbal, and communicates through a tablet.

Police said they thought she could be in the New Bedford - Fall River area, but they later announced she was located safe Wednesday afternoon in Warwick, Rhode Island.
