Peabody police say missing girl Iris Matul found safe

PEABODY - A girl reported missing in Peabody has been found safe. 

On Tuesday afternoon, Peabody police asked the public for help locating 12-year-old Iris Matul. She was reported missing Sunday from the Holiday Inn in Peabody.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, police said she was found safe at a local business on Newbury Street in Peabody. No other details were released.
