Michael Felger Apologizes To Jack Edwards

BOSTON (CBS) -- Jack Edwards wasn't very pleased with Felger & Mazz over the weekend, but he got his apology on Monday.

Edwards took exception to the 98.5 The Sports Hub hosts misquoting him throughout their Friday show, and took to the internet to let his displeasure be known.

Felger & Mazz made fun of Edwards for saying Bruins forward Brett Connolly had one of the best shots in the league during the broadcast of last Thursday's Bruins-Red Wings game. It was actually Edwards' color commentator, Andy Brickley, who said that Connolly had, "One of the better shots in the league."

So on Monday, Felger issued an apology to Edwards.

"Jack Edwards, from the bottom of my heart, I say I'm sorry," said Felger.

"I hate being misquoted. I think Jack was a little overboard, but be that as it may, I hate when people say something back to me something I didn't say," said Felger. "I know how Jack feels, and I feel like this is a little much, but I know that can drive you crazy."
