SWAT Team Called After Breaking And Entering At Methuen Rooming House

METHUEN (CBS) – A SWAT team was called to a Methuen rooming house where a breaking and entering suspect was refusing to answer the door and was believed to have a weapon.

The suspect allegedly broke into an apartment around 10 a.m. on Broadway.

The suspect was arrested late Tuesday.

A similar incident happened at the boarding house on March 22, but police do not believe it is the same suspect.

Broadway was closed at Center Street. Residents were asked to avoid the area.
