Mega Millions Jackpot Surges To $333 Million
BRAINTREE (CBS) – It hasn't quite reached Powerball fever levels yet, but the Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an eye-popping $333 million.
The cash option on the prize for Tuesday night's drawing is estimated to be $226.2 million. One-dollar tickets can be bought up until 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

March 8 was the last time someone won the Mega Millions jackpot. It hasn't been this high since early 2014, when the grand prize reached $414 million.
Wednesday's drawing of the Powerball, which hit a record $1.6 billion earlier this year, is now at $184 million.
