Medical Examiner: Autopsies Confirm Murder-Suicide In Exeter, NH

EXETER, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire attorney general's office says a woman was killed by a single gunshot to the head and the man found dead in the same Exeter house committed suicide.

Dr. Thomas Andrew — the state's chief medical examiner — says the death of 43-year-old Jennifer Noll was a homicide.

Andrew also said after the autopsies Wednesday that 49-year-old Richard Sanderson committed suicide by firing a single shot into his mouth.

Exeter police say they responded to a home on Tuesday for a welfare check and found the couple dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
