Man Charged With 'Upskirting' On MBTA Bus, Possessing Child Porn

BOSTON (CBS) -- An Everett man appeared in court Monday after police say he took pictures up a woman's skirt while riding on an MBTA bus last week.

Police say when they arrested Mark Barry, 51, on Friday, they also found he had child pornography on his phone.

He is charged with possession of child pornography and secretly videotaping.

Officers responded to the Sullivan Square MBTA station around 11 a.m. to a call of a man taking photos up a woman's skirt on a Route 109 MBTA bus.

The victim and witnesses gave information to the officers, which led them to Barry.

Transit Police detectives interviewed Barry, and found several "upskirting" photos on his phone, in addition to child pornography.

Barry is being held on $100,000 bond and is due back in court on August 31.
