MBTA Red Line Service Disrupted By Cable Fire
BOSTON (CBS) – Normal operations have resumed on the Red Line after the MBTA suspended service in both directions between Kendall and Park stations because of an early morning cable fire.
Passengers were put on buses to get to the Kendall, Charles/MGH, and Park stations during the disruption.
Delays were felt through the entire Red Line.
There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
