New MBTA Orange Line Train Car Vandalized With Graffiti

MEDFORD (CBS) – One of the MBTA's new Orange Line train cars was marked with graffiti, the transit agency says.

It happened last Friday night at the Wellington train yard, the MBTA said. Transit police detectives are investigating the incident.

The graffiti will be removed sometime this week.

The MBTA has said that the new fleet of 152 "modern, spacious" Orange Line vehicles is set to go into service this summer.
