Maynard Man Escapes After Crashing Car Into Acton Brook

ACTON (CBS) – A Maynard man was treated for hypothermia earlier this week after crashing his car into a brook.

Acton police said that Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. a 31-year-old man was driving a 2011 Chevy Cruze when the car drove off the road and into a brook on Central Street.

Witnesses told police that the driver climbed out of the car on his own and walked back up to the street, police said on Friday.

The Maynard man was treated for hypothermia and transported by ambulance to Emerson Hospital.
