WBZ-TV meteorologist Barry Burbank said rainbows are more regularly seen at sunset as opposed to in the early morning.
"It is relatively rare to have the perfect conditions to create, simultaneously, a stunning sunrise and rainbow. This usually happens in the late afternoon to early evening," Burbank said.
