Massachusetts Eyes Extending Tax Filing Deadline To May 17

BOSTON (CBS) -- Massachusetts lawmakers are looking to push the state's tax deadline to match that of the federal government.

That would mean delaying the filing date for state taxes from April 15 to May 17.

Both the State Senate president and State House speaker said they plan to include this delay in a bill that is already moving to the state legislature.
