New Mass. Ave. Bridge Opens Ahead Of Schedule

BOSTON (CBS) - The new Massachusetts Avenue bridge over Commonwealth Avenue is now open to traffic in the Back Bay.

MassDOT says crews have been working around the clock since Thursday night to finish construction ahead of schedule.

But the east and westbound Commonwealth Ave. bypass roads under the bridge are still closed until Wednesday May 23.
