Bus Catches Fire On Mass Pike In Soutboro
SOUTHBORO (CBS) – A stretch of the Mass Pike was temporarily closed down after a bus caught fire on the side of the road.

Massachusetts State Police said the Mass Pike westbound was closed in Southboro for about a half hour after a bus with about 50 people on board went up in flames around 2:30 p.m.

Video from the scene shows fire and smoke pouring from the back of the bus.
Passengers could be seen standing in the breakdown lane ahead of the bus.

State police said no one was injured in the bus fire.
As of about 2:45 p.m. the flames appeared to have been extinguished.
Soon after, police said the left lane was reopened and passengers were being removed from the shoulder in a school bus provided by Ashland Police.
