Mass. Man Accused Of Driving 118 MPH In 65 MPH Zone

GRANTHAM, N.H. (CBS) — A Massachusetts man is accused of driving 118 miles-an-hour in a 65-mph speed zone in New Hampshire.

Adel Malek of Weston was stopped by a trooper on Sunday afternoon in Grantham, N.H. on Interstate 89 after the vehicle's speed was clocked by an aircraft. Malek was driving a 2011 Audi A8, according to state police.

The 48-year-old was charged with reckless driving. He was later released on bail. Malek is due in the Newport District Court to answer to the charge.
