BOSTON (CBS/AP) – Massachusetts drivers will soon be able to show they are Boston Strong every time they take to the road.

The specialty license plate will cost $50, with proceeds after administrative costs going to One Fund Boston to provide financial assistance to victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

In addition to the words "Boston Strong," the bill calls for the plate to include a design showing support for those most affected by the bombing.

MassDOT says the license plates should be available by late summer or fall.

Massachusetts has more than a dozen specialty license plates that benefit a range of causes.
