Mass. Gas Prices Jump 8 Cents In A Week

BOSTON (AP) — Motorists in Massachusetts are again paying more at the pump.

AAA Southern New England said Monday that gasoline prices in Massachusetts rose 8 cents from last week.

The average for self-serve, regular unleaded gas increased to $3.44 per gallon, up from $3.36 last week.

Last week's price rose 2 cents from the previous week.

The price of gas per gallon in Massachusetts is 8 cents higher than the national average and 28 cents a gallon higher in Massachusetts than a year ago.

The survey says gas prices ranged from between $3.27 a gallon to a high of $3.79.
