Several Marlboro Homes Evacuated After Paving Crew Breaks Gas Line

MARLBORO (CBS) – Some Marlboro residents were evacuated Thursday morning after a gas main was struck by a paving crew.

Police shut off the area of Brigham Street, Clover Hill Road, and Leoleis Drive.

As a precaution, police asked some residents to leave their homes. Six customers were impacted.

Eversource and members of the Marlboro Fire Department are working in the area. Gas service was shut off to the neighborhood.
