Market Basket Saga Inspires Costume For Young Artie T. Supporter

BOSTON (CBS) – The story of the summer became a perfect costume for one young Market Basket supporter.

A Facebook user named Amy Ethier posted a picture to the "Artie T. Supporters Unite" page wishing followers of the page a happy Halloween.

In the photo, a child is seen dressed as Arthur T. DeMoulas, complete with a Market Basket name tag, bald cap with eyebrows, and a bucket of money that says "Save Market Basket Fund."

This summer, a six-week standoff between thousands of employees of Market Basket and management dominated the headlines. Artie T., as he is known, eventually took back control of the company after buying Market Basket and claiming the CEO title from his cousin, Arthur S. Demoulas.
