Manchester, NH Man Charged With 4 Robberies

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) -- A 27-year-old Manchester, New Hampshire man has been charged with four robberies that occurred over the past several days.

Benjamin Falvella was arrested on a warrant outside of his apartment on Lincoln Street at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday.

He has been charged with four counts of robbery.

Clerks at Cumberland Farms on Hanover Street and A A Market on Hall Street were each robbed twice in six days last week, police say.

Both stores were robbery scenes on July 12 and July 17.

Falvella allegedly wielded a knife in each robbery, stealing money in three of the four robbery attempts.

A clerk carrying a metal pipe chased him out of the store in the unsuccessful robbery bid.

Detectives were able to find a person of interest, later identified as Falvella, who matched the description of the man described by the clerks.

He will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on Monday.
