Man Wearing US Postal Service Jacket Robs Bank

BARRINGTON, R.I. (AP) — Police in Rhode Island are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who they say robbed a bank while wearing a U.S. Postal Service jacket.

Barrington police say the man held up a Bank of America on County Road Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the suspect demanded money from the teller and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He did not show a note or weapon.

Police described the suspect as a thin white male standing at approximately 5-foot-9.

They say he donned a light grey Postal Service jacket with a patch on the left shoulder, a light-colored hat, aviator sunglasses, pants with a stripe and a beige cloth covering his neck.
