Man Trapped Under Tree Limb Dies In Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say a man cutting trees at his mother's home in Westminster died when a limb fell on him.

A spokesman for the Worcester district attorney's office says officers and firefighters responding to a 911 call found the victim under the large tree limb late Thursday morning.

The man was pronounced dead of his injuries at the scene.

He was identified Friday as 58-year-old Daniel Leger of Barre. His death is not considered suspicious.

The investigation is being conducted by local police and the district attorney's office.
