Man Shot In Face, Drives Himself To Hospital

BOSTON (CBS) – A man was shot in the face in Roxbury early Thursday morning and drove himself to the hospital, according to police.

The unidentified man was shot at Columbus Avenue and Bragdon Streets just after 1 a.m. That's just a half-a-block from the scene of a double fatal shooting last week at Bragdon and Ernst Streets.

The wounded man drove himself to Boston Medical Center, where he crashed the car into two poles outside the emergency department. The car then rolled into a brick wall.

The man ran inside for treatment. There's no word yet on his condition.

There have been no arrests.
