Man Seriously Injured In Somerville Stabbing

WOBURN, Mass. (AP) — Authorities are investigating an overnight stabbing that left a Somerville man with serious injuries.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said Saturday that police found the 27-year-old victim with life-threatening injuries at about 1:30 a.m. after getting a report a person was on the ground on Broadway Street near the intersection of Hinkley Street. The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Ryan said in a statement the man was seen walking with someone just before the stabbing. Investigators believe he was stabbed on Hinkley Street and walked to Broadway, where he collapsed.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Somerville police.
