Man Follows Goat On The Loose In Lowell

LOWELL (CBS) -- A Lowell man says he went on a three-and-a-half hour goat chase through the streets of Lowell Friday night.

Frank Peabody was on his way home around 11 p.m. when he saw a goat walking on Moore Street.

It had apparently escaped from a farm in Tewksbury.

Peabody called Lowell Police to report the sighting.

He and another passerby cornered the goat in a fenced-off area on Iowa Street before animal control arrived.

Animal control failed to get the goat, and it is still on the loose.
