Man Fatally Shot Outside Brockton Bar
BROCKTON (CBS) – Investigators say a 42-year-old old man was fatally shot early Saturday morning outside a Brockton bar.
Witnesses reported the shooting just after 2 a.m. outside Dylan's Bar on Centre Street.
Brockton resident David Carroll was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was sent to Brockton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In a statement, ownership at Dylan's Bar said no similar incident has ever happened at the business.
The person who committed this crime is not a regular customer, and it wasn't random. We want our customers to know that this is a safe environment. We again are very sad and want the family to know how sorry we are this unfortunate incident happened.
Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz called the investigation "active and ongoing."
