Man Charged In Series Of Groping Incidents In Brighton

BOSTON (CBS) -- An Allston man has been charged in connection with multiple sexual assaults incidents that occurred near Boston University.

Prosecutors say Steven Lent, 26, groped two women on Brighton Avenue on Aug. 14, 2014, and two other women on Chester Street and Commonwealth Avenue on May 4, 2015. In each of the cases, Lent allegedly approached the women from behind, inappropriately touched them, then fled.

Boston University Police released surveillance video and images that Boston Police used to identify Lent as the suspect in all four sexual assaults.

Police are still investigating similar groping incidents in Allston and Brookline.

Lent's charges include multiple counts of indecent assault and battery.
