Man Accused Of 'Upskirting' At Hingham Book Store

HINGHAM (CBS) – Police are investigating a suspected case of "upskirting" at a Hingham Barnes & Noble over the weekend.

The store manager called police on Saturday just before 8 p.m. from the Derby Street Shoppes location.

A woman inside the store told the manager she noticed a man who was near her.

The woman said she was not sure what the man was doing until she felt something graze her leg and noticed the man had put a phone under her skirt.

Police describe the man as Asian, about 30 years old, 5'9" tall with a medium build. The man had dark hair that was shaved on the sides and longer on top.

The suspect was wearing a bright green shirt and thick glasses at the time of the incident.
