Lynn Police Officer Charged With OUI

LYNN (CBS) -- A Lynn Police Lieutenant was arrested early Sunday morning on an OUI charge.

Lynn Police Chief Michael Mageary confirmed to WBZ-TV that Lt. James Shinnick was arrested and charged with operating under the influence.

Chief Mageary said Lt. Shinnick performs administrative duties for the department, and they will determine his duty status once they're finished investigating his arrest.
