Police Chase Down Lynn Home Invasion Suspects

LYNN (CBS) - Several shots fired in Lynn sparked a massive manhunt and sent a school into lockdown Wednesday morning. It all started with a botched home break-in.

The police chase went on for about an hour leaving a car with bullet holes and neighbors shaken.

It started when two men kicked down the backdoor of a home, made off with a bag of money, and shot at some other residents who pulled up in a car. No one was hurt.

"This was a targeted home invasion without question." Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.

One man was arrested a street away where police found a gun. A second suspect ran through the neighborhood and hid.
