Lynn Man Charged With Trafficking In Cocaine

BOSTON (CBS) -- A Lynn man has been charged with trafficking in cocaine after he was pulled over for motor vehicle violations, Massachusetts State Police said.

Police said 28-year-old Jose Landestoy was pulled over on Friday afternoon on the Riverway near Longwood Avenue in Boston when an officer saw him speeding and failing to use a turn signal.

After an investigation, Landestoy was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Class B Narcotics – Cocaine and Possession of Class B Narcotics with Intent to Distribute.

Landestoy is in custody on $50,000 bail and is set to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on Monday.
