Suspicious Death: Burned Body Found Next To Lynn Playground

LYNN (CBS) – Authorities are investigating a burned body found next to a playground in Lynn.

Police responded at 2:10 p.m. to Walnut Street near Frey Park, where a dog walker found the body. SkyEye showed investigators on scene and crime tape surrounding a wooded area next to a baseball field.

Essex County District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett says the death is considered suspicious and remains under investigation.

It may be a while before an identification is made due to the condition of the body.
