Lululemon Recalls Over 300,000 Women's Tops

BOSTON (CBS) – Yoga and running gear maker Lululemon is recalling over 300,000 women's tops because they could cause injuries.

Nineteen styles of tops have been recalled because when the elastic draw string for the hoods is pulled or caught on something and then released it can snap back and cause injuries to the face.

The recall is for 19 styles of Lululemon tops that include the cord, which has a hard tip at the end of it.

In total, the recall is for about 133,000 pieces of clothing in the United States and 185,000 in Canada.

Seven reported facial and eye injuries prompted the recall.

The company previously recalled yoga pants because the material was see-through. The company's CEO received criticism for his claim that having thighs that don't touch would help keep yoga pants from thinning.
