15-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Assault At Lowell House Party

LOWELL (CBS) -- A Tewksbury teen was arrested after authorities said he assaulted a 15-year-old at a house party Friday night.

Joseph Zagerella, 18, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The Middlesex District Attorney's office said Zagerella assaulted the 15-year-old shortly before midnight at a party on Boylston Street. '

That 15-year-old victim remains hospitalized with "very serious head injuries," according to the Middlesex DA's office.

Zagerella is due to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Monday.
