Lowell Police Seek Help With Unsolved 2012 Fatal Hit-And-Run

LOWELL (CBS) -- Police and the Middlesex District Attorney's Office are seeking the public's help solving a fatal hit-and-run that occurred in Lowell nearly three years ago.

50-year-old Fabian Bolanos was struck and killed by a car in front of 240 West Sixth St. between 12:30 a.m. and 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 23, 2012.

The vehicle did not stop, but it was found later by investigators on Suffolk Street.

Investigators are still trying to identify the person driving the car at the time of the crash.

Bolanos' family, including wife and son, continue to be committed to seeing the case solved.
