Longtime Mass. Resident Pleads Guilty To Casting Votes For President In NH

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A man who has lived in Massachusetts for over 20 years has pleaded guilty to voting in New Hampshire for the 2012 and 2008 presidential elections.

Attorney General Joseph Foster says Lorin Schneider Jr. of Carver also voted in the 2012 presidential primary in New Hampshire, while not being legally qualified to vote in the state.

Schneider received a one- to three-year state prison sentence, suspended for five years while on good behavior.

He has to pay a $5,000 fine.
