Driver Using Cell Phone Crashes On Route 2 In Lincoln

LINCOLN (CBS) – Massachusetts State Police are warning people of the consequences of distracted driving following a crash in Lincoln.

A car was heavily damaged during a Fourth of July crash.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

"Distracted driving can have serious consequences. The driver will be OK, he did not hurt anyone else, but admitted to being on his phone when this happened this morning on Route 2 in Lincoln," said Massachusetts State Police trooper Dustin Fitch.
