Lightning Strike Likely Caused Southborough House Fire, Officials Say

SOUTHBOROUGH (CBS) -- Fire officials say lightning was likely the cause of an early morning fire that destroyed a home in Southborough.

Firefighters from Southborough and surrounding neighborhoods responded to the fire around 6a.m. on Sunday. The house was fully engulfed in flames.

Fire officials say the residents were not home at the time no one was injured.
