Postal Worker Attacked In Dorchester

BOSTON (CBS) – Police are looking for a group of suspects who allegedly attacked a postal worker in Dorchester.

The USPS Letter Carrier says he was delivering mail when he was attacked in the area of Cushing Ave and Windermere Road on Tuesday afternoon.

The suspects, who were captured on surveillance camera, are described as four Hispanic males and one Hispanic female. They are approximately 17-19 years old.

Police say assault of a postal employee is a federal offense that can carry a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
