Leominster Police Find Kids Playing With Hypodermic Needles In Dumpster

LEOMINSTER (CBS) --- Not far from a community playground, police found a group of children playing with hypodermic needles in a dumpster.

Leominster Police were called to State Street around 4:40 p.m. Saturday.

There, they found the kids chasing each other with the needles. Police say five kids were stuck with the needles.

The needles had been thrown away and were in the dumpster.

The kids were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police say as far as they know, the needles were clean.

There's no word on how old the kids are.
