LeGarrette Blount Scores 15th Rushing TD, Sets New Pats Record

LeGarrette Blount has been a very effective weapon for the Patriots in the running game since joining the team two seasons ago. This year, Blount has had his best statistical season of his career rushing for 1,029 yards on 248 carries with 14 touchdowns heading into the Patriots match-up with the Broncos in Week 15.

Those 14 scores tied the single season franchise record held by Curtis Martin. In the second quarter against the Broncos, Blount bulldozed his way into the end zone from a yard out to put himself into sole possession of the team record for single-season rushing touchdowns.

The score also gave the Pats a 10-3 lead in a game that had been a defensive struggle to that point.
