Woman Killed & Husband Injured In Lawrence Stabbing; Police Suspect Domestic Violence
LAWRENCE (CBS) – A woman is dead and her husband seriously injured in Lawrence after a stabbing incident that police believe was an act of domestic violence.
Police said they responded to a home on Doyle Street just after 5 p.m. and found a man in his early 30s and a woman in her late 20s both suffering from stab wounds. Police later determined that they were husband and wife.
Both were taken to Boston hospitals, and the woman later died.
Lawrence Mayor Dan Rivera tweeted about the incident, saying "There is so much to do to end this epidemic!"

Part of Doyle Street was still blocked off hours later. An investigation is underway.
