Police Seek Witnesses To Fatal Lakeville Crash
LAKEVILLE (CBS) – Police are asking witnesses to a Lakeville crash that killed one man and injured a second person to come forward with information.
Saturday at about 12:30 p.m. a 2010 Honda Civic driven by 21-year-old Devin Carrier of East Freetown crashed on Route 140 South near Exit 9 in Lakeville.
The car crashed into the woods and hit a tree, trapping Carrier and his passenger.
Carrier was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford but pronounced dead.
His passenger was brought to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
On Sunday, investigators asked anyone who witnessed the single-vehicle crash or who has information to call State Police at (508) 947-2222.
