Kraft: 'Tommy' The Greatest Of All Time

BOSTON (CBS) - New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is reflecting on his 20 years at the helm and looking forward to Sunday's AFC Championship.

WBZ-TV's Lisa Hughes sat down with Mr. Kraft on Wednesday.

A season ticket holder, he said buying the team was a dream come true. Since then, Kraft has brought three championships to New England.

But after this season's rocky start, can they bring home a fourth Super Bowl title?

"There's something pretty special down there in this locker room," Kraft said. "It's not really how you start your season, it's how you finish."

With Tom Brady and Peyton Manning going head-to-head, WBZ's Lisa Hughes asked Kraft if it's hyperbole to say the quarterbacks are fighting for the title of best quarterback.

"I think Tommy is the greatest of all time and Peyton is right there, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th afterward," he said.

When asked if he thinks late-wife Myra Kraft is watching over him, he said she's always with him.

"I had the privilege of being married to an outstanding lady who was a tremendous partner and she was there and did so much good and she's forever with me," Kraft said.

For more of Lisa's chat with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, tune in to a special 90-minute edition of Patriots GameDay Sunday morning on WBZ-TV at 11:30 am! Sunday's AFC Championship game between the Patriots and Denver Broncos can only be seen on WBZ-TV -- the flagship station of the New England Patriots.
