Celtics @ 7: Boston's Kobe Sendoff Was Too Much
BOSTON (CBS) – The C's enjoyed a 2-1 week, but it was capped by a disappointing, borderline inexcusable loss to the Lakers on Wednesday.
"Celtics @ 7" host Adam Kaufman looked back at Kobe Bryant's final career trip to the Garden, the crowd's response to his farewell performance, and how the Lakers legend should be remembered locally.
The ovations, Kaufman said, were over the top and too "lovey dovey" for a hated rival who also happens to be a terrible guy.
Scott Souza from the MetroWest Daily News joined the show to discuss Bryant as well, along with Marcus Smart's return from a knee injury.
